1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Lumist Studio ("Lumist", "we", "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.
2. Local-First Architecture & Data Loss
We do not host, store, or back up your data on our servers.
If you clear your browser's cache, cookies, or site data—or if you use browser extensions that automatically wipe data upon closing tabs—YOUR DATA WILL BE PERMANENTLY DELETED. You are solely responsible for routinely exporting your data using the Lumist Safe application.
3. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Lumist Studio, its founders, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the software.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of business, or missed invoicing resulting from browser storage failures, accidental cache clearing, or device failure.
4. "As Is" Software Provision
The tools within Lumist Studio (including Flow, Tally, Hue, Type, Vector, Stash, and Safe) are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5. Financial & Invoicing Disclaimer
Lumist Tally provides mathematical aggregations of your tracked time and generates visual timesheet templates. Lumist is not an accounting software, a payment processor, or a tax compliance engine. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your timesheets, verifying your hourly rates, and complying with all local tax and invoicing laws.
